What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a psychological treatment that has been proven successful through rigorous scientific research. CBT helps people understand the relationship between their thoughts, behaviour, physiology, and emotions. Using CBT, Veronica will teach you tools so that you can take better control of your life. The more tools you learn, and the more practice you get using these tools, the better equipped you will be in dealing with every day challenges. Cognitive-behavioural therapy is collaborative which means we work together to relieve distress. Therapy requires a very active effort on your part by working on homework between sessions. Veronica sees clients repeatedly succeed when they prioritize treatment by investing mental energy and time between sessions – They achieve mental fitness and wellbeing.
